Chuck Hawley

Chuck Hawley is a Principal and Managing Partner of CBC Cornerstone with more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience in brokerage, leasing, property management, asset management, acquisitions, and dispositions.

Prior to co-founding CBC Cornerstone, Chuck served as Vice President of the Southwest Region for Wilson Cornerstone Properties, a publicly traded REIT, where he directed the financial performance and operations of 34 office buildings totaling more than 5 million square feet across Southern California, Arizona, and Colorado, leading a team of more than 100 professionals.

A Casper native, Chuck graduated from Casper College and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Wyoming before spending 18 years in the Los Angeles market with nationally recognized firms including Prentiss Properties, Equity Office Properties, General Growth Properties, and Douglas Emmett.

Chuck returned to Wyoming in 2004 and, in 2017, partnered with longtime friend and business associate Forrest Leff to establish Cornerstone Real Estate. Throughout his career, he has represented institutional owners and investors, including Morgan Stanley, TIAA, Wells Fargo, U.S. Bank, Bank of the West, and First Interstate Bank, as well as landlords and tenants across office, retail, industrial, mixed-use, medical, and land properties. His transaction experience includes national companies such as Disney, Cigna, Starbucks, Qdoba, Prudential, Harbor Freight Tools, Dollar Tree, and Aspen Dental, along with healthcare organizations including UnitedHealthcare, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, The Veterans Administration, and DaVita Medical Group.

Chuck has completed more than 800 sale and lease transactions, including over 200 agreements with local, regional, and national businesses throughout Casper and the surrounding region. Through various partnerships, he has also actively owned and managed commercial real estate investments in California, Arizona, Nevada, Ohio, and Wyoming.

Chuck's institutional leadership, investment experience, brokerage expertise, and deep knowledge of the Wyoming market provide clients with a strategic advantage rarely found in the region.
